The wider a candle is, the longer you need to burn it on a given lighting to maximize your overall burn time.

For the most flexible burn time, anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours, we recommend narrow candles like our hand-dipped beeswax tapers.

For longer burns for 2+ ours, try our 3 inch diameter beeswax pillars, or scented candles in glassware.

Our non toxic scented candle line, Bluecorn Aromática, is made with coconut wax, which doesn't bring it's own fragrance to the mix and can hold a higher fragrance load for stronger scent while burning. We use extremely high-quality, clean fragrance oils that are Prop 65 compliant and always phthalate-free, for luxurious scents that fill the room without overpowering. We've developed nine unique scented candles, each inspired by a different facet of the western Colorado landscape we call home.

Yes! We use nontoxic, eco-friendly materials like bees wax, coconut wax and essential oils to create our candles. We offer glass candle holders made from recycled glass and fully home-compostable refill kits for our scented candles.

We do ship internationally, just enter your address at checkout to confirm and shop market rates. International purchasers are not eligible for free shipping and responsible for customs duties should they arise.

Our standard, domestic shipping policy is outlined in full here, but essentially we ship most orders within 3 business days (usually faster) and they generally take another 3-5 to reach your doorstep if you get the usual ground rate. These times all get longer during the holiday rush, so we recommend shopping early! We offer free shipping on all domestic orders over $100.

We craft extremely high-quality candles and guarantee they'll burn well with proper care. If you're candle isn't burning as expected, please reach out right away and we'll help you troubleshoot and get you hooked up with a refund or replacement if needed.

If you need to return you candles but there's nothing wrong with them (you just changed your mind or don't like the scent), we're happy to take them back -- we just ask you ship them back to us un-burned and in good condition.

If your candles arrive and there's nothing wrong with them, you just don't like the scent or otherwise changed your mind, no worries! We're happy to take them back un-burned, we just ask that you cover shipping in those cases.

The right candle for you depends on two principle factors: how long you like to burn candles for and whether or not you want your candle to have a scent.

If you enjoy burning candles for a long time, say all day or all evening, then larger (aka wider) candles are a great fit for you. Try our 3" dia. pure beeswax pillars or large Aromática if your seeking scented.

If you like shorter burns, say a half hour while you're meditating or an hour over dinner, then you'll want narrower candles. Our pure beeswax tapers are a great, flexible option, as are pure beeswax tea lights.
