Our 100% pure beeswax votive candles, like other traditional votives, are made to become molten and fill their container. To achieve the best results, burn inside a holder which fits the candle snugly (we recommend these).
Using the proper votive candle holders, you can expect our beeswax votives to burn for about 12 hours each, making these hand-poured beeswax candles a great bang for your buck.
Bluecorn's all-natural votive candles are also excellent for big celebrations where you want a lot of scattered candlelight suffusing the space with glow and the subtle scent of pure beeswax. Votives make great wedding candles, which is why we sell both votive candles and glass votive holders at such great bulk discounts.

Dimensions & Care
- 1 5/8" top diameter, 1 3/8" bottom diameter, 1 3/4" height
- All votives should be burned in a votive candle holder just wide enough to fit the candle and no larger. Votives are designed to develop a molten pool which fills the container. Using too wide a container will allow the beeswax to spread out and go unburned, radically shortening the overall burn time. Check it out:
- When a votive candle is towards the end of its life (~1/2” left) let it burn till it goes out. This will lengthen the overall burn time and reduce or eliminate unburned wax left in your holder. Burned in this fashion in a snug candle holder, our votives often leave nothing but the wick clip — it's why they're a favorite amongst our most loyal customers!
- If you do have leftover beeswax in your holder after a burn, the easiest way to clean it is by filling the holder with boiling water and allowing the wax to melt, rise to the surface and cool for easy removal.
The website says “Burned in this fashion in a snug candle holder, our votives often leave nothing but the wick clip”. That’s false, I purchased the votive candle Spanish glass holder they recommended and have terrible results. I emailed Bluecorn about a possible faulty Spanish glass and even provided detailed pictures and to me it seemed like they didn’t care and said it looks normal. Even though about 3/8” of molten wax is left over after the wick goes out. I would’ve thought they’d care enough to replace the glass even after more than purchasing more than $800 in candles from them.
I like the mission of Bee the Light candle company and have used their votives for a while, but I have never been pleased with the burn. Here's a photo of two candles in the same size candle holder that sat next to each other on my shrine and were burned exactly the same amount of time. You can see the difference. I think it's the thickness of the wick that makes the difference. I think I'll switch to Bluecorn when i burn through my current stock of votives :)

I wanted to try these candles as a safer more natural alternative for my home. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they last a long time, and burn very evenly and cleanly. Perfect to add some ambience to my home this winter time!
I purchased the Volta of candles with the recycled glass bolt of candle holders and I've had a ordered 5 of the candle holders that had 2 brake 1 and transport and one on its 1st use candles are nice glass candle holders seem to be hit-and-miss
I love my "hugge" lights and burn them every evening after dark. They give a cozy glow to my living space and warm my heart. This is a tradition I learned when I was lucky enough to travel to Denmark. I'm so happy to find actual beeswax candles.
Burn clean and the very soft scent is wonderful. I like how they burn all the way down so it's easy to add a new votive. Not a mess like regular candles where you are left scraping out so much wax!

These candles are amazing, I use them when I study and read, and when I do my shamanic journeying. I can get a sense of the bees working with me in harmony. The scent of the eucalyptus/citrus candle is lovely. When I started using these candles, I did not understand how when burned, the would puddle, needless to say, I had a mess, but the Bluecorn team helped me correct that and provied the right container (spanish glass) for me to use the candles in properly. I’m a new Bluecorn customer and I’m so happy I decided to buy a set of raw beeswax votive candles and dark amber glass votive holders directly from Bluecorn’s website. As a first time beeswax candle user as well, I’m quite happy with how pleasant yet mild the scent of a beeswax candle is. I cannot get enough of how well these little candles in their awesome amber holders set the mood for whatever the occasion may be in our home. I only recently started to shower by the candlelight of these votives and it’s quite a calming effect. When following the proper routine of trimming the wick to 1/4”, these votives provide a steady, warm glow and I’ve yet to run into any issues with the cotton wicks or irregular burn issues. What might have impressed me the most is the quality of the amber votive holders. The glass is very thick, high quality, and the perfect size for these raw beeswax votive candles. I can already see myself running to the website to gift these wonderful candles to friends and family - perfect for any occasion. I’ve subsequently subscribed for more votive candles, ordered more votive holders, and ordered a couple candles from the aromática line that I’m really excited to try. I love the brightness of the burn. They glow like I've never seen any other candle glow. However, they burn much faster than my Root, Sydney, or Voluspa Candles.
Last night I realized that I need to leave the wick a little longer than the typical 1/4" . I trimmed three of them to this height and couldn't get them lit until I tilted them to the side.

Everything was great aside from the raw tapers- there was strange bubbling between layers of wax at the base of each pair (i got four). So kinda disappointed about the esthetic aspect but im guessing theyll burn fine. I love beeswax, its the only kind of candle i burn. I live on an island so it took forever for these to arrive- so i wont be trying to exchange or return the irregular looking ones.
