The North Fork Valley of Colorado is nestled sweetly beneath the majestic West Elk Mountains. Its mesas and rich alluvial plains are home to abundant fruit orchards, vineyards, veggie farms, and fragrant marijuana grows. Its inhabitants are a hearty, vibrant cast of creatives who celebrate these earthly gifts with song and dance and prayer. La Mesa is a fragrance inspired by these vital lands and the folks that tend them.

It is a bright and lively fragrance that hums with top notes of sweet, spicy basil, fresh citrusy rhubarb and green, floral cannabis. Herbaceous basil and rich, resinous fir needle create a soothing aromatic core. The unmistakable aroma of fresh soil grounds this fragrance with raw, authentic earthy base notes. La Mesa is the very definition of a fresh, clean scent that, quite literally, will brighten your day.

Aromatica La Mesa Candle

I prefer unscented candles. The Aromatica La Mesa candle scent is so delicious, I immediately ordered two more! This scent is my favorite of the three aromatica candles I've tried (Artesmia and Arroyo being the others). La Mesa has a fresh, bright, clean light scent that suits me to a tee.

Fir is overwhelming

The fir scent was immediately overpowering and unpleasant. I could only let it burn for an hour before deciding I could never use it again.

These candles are amazing. The La Mesa and Arroyo are so clean, crisp, outdoorsy smelling. I’ve purchased them both twice, now. I’m not a fan of sweet scents and eucalyptus unfortunately gives me a headache. These two scents will be my go to!

Not sure...

I usually don't buy scented candles but was inspired to buy it based on the information that the scent was light. I have burned only for a short time, and have used it mainly for an air-freshener that I carry from room to room every few days. Perhaps after a month of out-gassing I will enjoy the scent better.

Very nice clean scent

I am really loving this scent. Clear and fresh smelling. It is much stronger than the other bees wax, but it is still very nice. Even though it is a chemical fragrance it doesn't give me a headache or any I'll effects.
