Imagine your journey home meant breaking trail through fresh, knee-deep powder under a canopy of starlight and towering aspen trees. As if the trek alone wasn't rewarding enough, you cozy up to a crackling wood stove with hot lemon, honey and whiskey. That's The Woodsy, a warm pine scented candle that evokes the birth of the Bluecorn brand in an off-grid cabin in Telluride, Colorado over 30 years ago.

The Woodsy is an uplifting fragrance with top notes of tangy lemon, eucalyptus and smooth, sweet blue spruce. Refreshing pine, comforting clove and juicy pear hold the center while warm woods, earthy moss, musk and balsamic tonka bean make the base of this crisp, charming fragrance.

Great fragrance

Scented candles smell really nice. Unfortunately, I get headaches from scented candles and Blue Corn are no different. The tea lights are unscented and are very good for me. No scent=no headache.

Scent too strong for me

I’m really sensitive to synthetic scents, so when I saw this candle was scented with “clean fragrance,” I was hopeful that it wouldn’t give me a headache, but alas. It’s a very strong scent (which I know lots of people love), but I just am not able to tolerate it. It’s a beautiful candle, though, and looks lovely.

I really like the scent. Fills the room. Smells wonderful . The larger size doesn’t seem to have as full a scent as the smaller size. The ratio of wax to oils needs to be increased.
