PRIVATE LABEL PROCESS
How it works
1. Tell us about your brand — Send a quick email to sales@beeswaxcandles.com subject line, Private Label Inquiry. We'll want to know your specifications, volume, timeline and where the candles will sell.
2. Sample and spec — We'll send product samples and confirm which of our candles fit your line.
3. Artwork approval — You send label or packaging artwork including the "Made for [Your Brand] by Bluecorn" line. We approve it before production starts, usually within 1-2 business days.
4. Production and ship — We order your packaging if applicable. Then we pour, label and ship from Montrose, Colorado. Reorders typically run faster than your opening order.
PARTNERSHIP
What we ask of our private label partners
Private labeling with Bluecorn is a collaboration, not a manufacturing transaction. Two things we ask:
- Credit where it's due. Your packaging carries a "Handmade for [Your Brand] by Bluecorn in Montrose, Colorado" statement. In our experience this helps — customers pay more for candles with a real craft maker behind them.
- Share the story. We ask partners to post about the collaboration and tag us at least once per purchase order. We'll do the same for you.
FAQ
Do you offer white label candles? Bluecorn is a small, domestic craft manufacturer that takes great pride in our materials, process and product. For that reason, we do not offer a white label program (i.e. a completely un-branded way to sell Bluecorn-made candles under your brand). We do, however, love to collaborate via private labeling with brands that share our values and aesthetics!
What is the minimum order for private label candles? Opening orders start at $1,000 for our Launch tier and $5,000 for Grow. Reorder minimums are $500 and $2,500 respectively. For label-applied production, the MOQ is 100 units per label variation.
How long does a private label order take? About four weeks for Launch tier orders and one to three months for Grow tier, depending on packaging partners and seasonal production volume. Fall and holiday lead times run longer — plan accordingly.
What kind of wax do you use? 100% pure beeswax, sourced from American beekeepers. We also produce a coconut wax line for scented candles. We do not make paraffin or soy candles.
Can I get custom scents or colors? Yes, at our Partner tier. Custom scent and color development requires a custom contract and typically annual volume above $50,000.
Can you design my label for me? Absolutely. We are happy to design your labels for a small additional fee.
Are your candles made in the USA? Every Bluecorn candle is hand-poured in Montrose, Colorado. Domestic production means no import tariffs, no ocean freight delays and a supply chain you can actually visit. We have a great cafe and mercantile right alongside our candle factory, come say hi!
