Slender 1/2" tapers for a minimalist table — 10 candles per bundle.

Color

Slender, tall and hand-dipped in 100% pure beeswax, these thin taper candles bring candlelight to the table without crowding it. At just 1/2" wide they add glow, not bulk — guests see each other across the table, not a wall of wax — and one bundle of 10 is enough to line a long harvest table or give every place setting its own flame.

Each 12" candle burns for about 6 hours, right-sized for a long dinner, so every gathering this season starts with fresh, full-height tapers. They're just as lovely on their own for meditation, prayer and ceremony, grouped in a bowl of sand, or standing in our solid brass thin taper holders.

  • 100% pure beeswax with a cotton wick, hand-dipped in western Colorado, where we've made candles since 1991

Choose thin for more flames per dollar, a lighter look, and candles sized to a single gathering. Choose standard if you'd rather one candle carry you through several evenings — shop standard beeswax taper pairs or the 4-pair bundle.

Dimensions & Care

  • 12" tall × 1/2" at the base. Sold in bundles of 5 pairs (10 candles).
  • Burn time: about 6 hours per candle, roughly 30 minutes per inch.
  • Always place taper candles in a fitted holder and use caution — the holder may become hot at the end of the burn.
  • To avoid drips, trim the wick to 1/4" before first light and do not trim after that (the long wick prevents drips). Burn out of drafts and use a snuffer to gently extinguish the flame.
  • These thin candles are delicate and malleable. They can be bent into a variety of shapes, if desired, but please note this may cause them to drip or burn unevenly.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Beautiful Pink Beeswax!

The most beautiful light pink beeswax tapers! I bought them in both regular and thin. The thin tapers worked in our Waldorf birthday ring. So gorgeous on the table and they burn so evenly with that dreamy beeswax scent. Bluecorn is my new fairy candle maker!
