Pure beeswax has a naturally light scent throw and doesn’t hold essential oils as strongly as other waxes, so our Botanica line ends up being very subtle by nature. Those candles are scented only with pure essential oils, which keeps them beautifully natural but also quite gentle.
If you’re looking for a stronger fragrance experience, our Aromática collection is likely a much better fit. Those candles are made with coconut wax, which carries scent far more effectively, and they’re scented with non‑toxic, phthalate‑free fragrances designed to fill a space more noticeably.
We really appreciate you giving Botanica a try, and we’d love to help you find a candle that feels just right for your space next time.

We apologize that the scent was not as strong as expected. We use 100% pure essential oils in contrast to most scented candles on the market, which use harmful chemical fragrances. These chemicals, which commonly include endocrine-disrupting phthalates, will often produce a stronger cold throw (unlit candle) and hot throw (lit candle). Our candles will naturally be less intense than these. If you're looking for a stronger scent, we highly recommend our Aromatica scented coconut wax candles.

Because of this, our candles will naturally have a more subtle scent, especially in larger spaces.
If you're looking for a stronger fragrance experience, we recommend trying our Aromatica line. These candles are made with coconut wax and were developed to be more fragrance-forward while still using clean, non-toxic ingredients.
