I’ve only had it for about a month, but so far, it’s great! Not only charges quickly but it’s very clean and efficient compared to using butane lighters. I burn Bluecorn Candles every day because it helps my asthma so the quick turnaround in charging while trying to be environmentally “aware” is a ++ for me, And so are your beeswax candles - excellent product, clean and long burns.

I waited quite awhile to try this company-and I don’t know why I did.m! These products are top quality! Inside lots of tea lights in salt candles around the house, and these burn clean a bright for several hours with a lovely light honey smell. By far my favorite tea lights. And I love that I can buy refills without the plastic/metal containers each time. Thank you for a great (and for me local!) product!

Instructions for the lighter are a little confusing, and could be written more clearly. The lighter came fully charged, but the instructions implied that it needed to be charged for a couple of hours before it would work and it’s a very unusual way to light candles, but it does seem to work not sure how long one charge will last, but it wasn’t too hard to find Outlet in which to charge it.

We apologize for any confusion with the instructions. We will definitely take your feedback into consideration and work on making them clearer for future customers.

Added this item to my order to earn free shipping. So glad I did! It's an amazing little gadget that works like a charm! Had I discovered it earlier, would have ordered more for stocking stuffers!
this thing is great for getting to hard to light wicks.
The instructions say to not charge with more than a 3A output or any other fast charging cord. Aren't most plugs and cords that are low rated 5A?
Hi Kirsten,
Great question — it can definitely be confusing with all the different chargers out there. The trick is to use the charger that comes with the lighter. That one is matched to the lighter’s power needs, so you don’t have to worry about the output rating or whether a cord is considered “fast charging.”
Most higher‑amp plugs and cables are designed for phones and tablets, but the included charger is the safest and most reliable option for this lighter.
If anything else comes up, I’m here to help.

Jennifer
