Welcome to Aromática - potent, evocative scents inspired by our western Colorado experience. These vegan coconut wax candles promise to fill your space with strong, clean fragrance without compromising our commitment to non-toxic ingredients.

We designed these scented candle sample tins specifically for our online customers because we know it's pretty hard to smell through a screen! These samples are short and wide to give you the closest possible experience to a full-sized candle's hot throw (scent while burning). We recommend burning them straight through when you're going to be home all day or evening. Burned this way, our sample tins last about six hours and fill your space with luxurious scent that evolves over the course of the burn.

The Scents:

NEW Pumpkin: Our rootsy take on the iconic PSL. Delectable pumpkin-maple accord grounded by essential oils of cinnamon, cardamom and clove.

NEW Ponderosa Pine: The Christmas Tree candle! Cool ozone and essential oils of pine, fir and cypress.

Mountain Lilac: Capture the essence of Colorado’s summer with lush lilac, wildflowers, and delicate wood hyacinth. Grounded by vetiver and earthy notes, this scent evokes nature in full bloom.

Paloma: Bright and lively, tangy grapefruit and sweet prickly pear evolve into layers of peach, apple, and juniper, finished with earthy rhubarb and woods.

White Lily: Sweet and sophisticated, white lily mingles with crisp green foliage and sensual violet undertones, creating a romantic and graceful aroma.

The Woodsy is an uplifting fragrance with top notes of tangy lemon, eucalyptus, and smooth, sweet blue spruce. Refreshing pine, comforting clove, and juicy pear hold the center while warm woods, earthy moss, musk, and balsamic tonka bean base notes make the base of this crisp, charming fragrance. Inspired by the cozy, off-grid cabin in the woods outside Telluride, CO where our company founder dipped his first beeswax candle.

Artemisa is a harmonious fragrance with vibrant top notes of green foliage, zesty bergamot, and lime. The heart is a unique blend of herbal sage, sharp pepper, thyme, aromatic eucalyptus, and jasmine. A sweet and spicy base of tonka bean, precious sandalwood, and cedar finish this peaceful aroma. Inspired by the sagebrush-covered foothills of Ridgway, Colorado — gateway to the San Juan Mountains.

Arroyo features warm spice top notes of black pepper, allspice, and nutmeg blended with vibrant bursts of grapefruit and orange. Middle notes of elemi, frankincense, delicate jasmine and earthy green cypress hover over a resinous base of amber, moss and cedarwood with herbaceous patchouli and bright vetiver. Inspired by the vast desert canyon country that extends west of our Montrose, CO workshop to eastern Utah.

La Mesa is a bright and lively fragrance that hums with top notes of sweet, spicy basil, fresh citrusy rhubarb, and green, floral cannabis. Herbaceous basil and rich, resinous fir needle create a soothing aromatic core. The unmistakable aroma of fresh soil grounds this fragrance with raw, authentic earthy base notes. Inspired by the abundant orchards and fragrant marijuana grows of Colorado's North Fork Valley.

Fab small rich-scented candle tins

I bought the set of four. I gifted one to a co-worker, which she loved. I had brought another differently scented one with me in case she didn't like the aroma. I had the tin on my desk and another co worker came by and asked about the tin. He wanted it, so I gave it to him. I only had these a couple of days and have gifted two, burned one and am ordering another scent. I love these, for myself and as great not-too expensive gifts!

Great Sample Set

Am new to Bluecorn Candles so this is a great opportunity to try the various scented candles. Each one burns for hours so you really get to find which scent is best for you. I did not find any of the scents overwhelming or too strong. They were all very soft, gentle scents that float through the air. I think I found my favorite and am ordering the large size candle! 😊

I got this pack to figure out which scents I enjoyed most. I did not care for the pumpkin but loved the rest. And once the candle burned out I used the remaining wax on a warmer to get the most bang!

Did not burn evenly

I’m sorry to hear it didn’t burn evenly for you. These little sample tins are designed for one straight 6‑hour burn just to sample the scent before committing to a full sized candle, but if you burned it that way and still saw a funky or uneven burn, I’d really love to take a look. Sometimes a quick photo helps me figure out what went wrong.

Great idea!

While I enjoyed these candles, I can't say that I loved all of them. That is what makes this pack-up so great!! I was able to try new flavors without making a large wax commitment and chance ending up with a candle that I did not like. I kept the lids of the ones I really liked so that I can order in the future!!

Delightful! I’ll be back!

I bought a sample set of four fragrances: Arroyo, Mesa, Artemisa and The Woodsy. It’s important to me to not use soy wax or paraffin. These are coconut wax. Shipping was fast! I find they have great throw. And the fragrance? Oh my goodness, just what I’m looking for. The Arroyo and La Mesa are phenomenal. I’ve since purchased their melt/pour kit of the Arroyo plus a scented 3-wick beeswax candle + their beautiful refillable 10oz refillable glass holder.

Wonderful Scent

I am very particular on scents in general. Blue corn did not disappoint! The Woodsy was a very wonderful aroma and spot on in the description. I feel the 5 or so hour burn time for that price is a great option to try out a scent. No spillage or leaks. Was a good clean burn. No complaints here. If you’re on the fence just snag one you won’t regret it.

These sample candles are a nice trial size or for me, made great Christmas stocking stuffers or favors. Some of these sample candles melted or the oils spilled out in shipping, but it cleaned up fine.

I like mostly all of the scents of these candles. This sample burns for approximately 5 hours and then it is gone. Pro tip: place something non-flammable underneath like a slate rock, tile, or ceramic dish in case the wax spills out. Clean burn.

Not These Scented Candles

Like the unscented taper candles, but none of the scented candles in the sample tin set produce much scent. Disappointing.

Christmas gift and one for me!

My adult daughter asked me to please not buy her anymore socks for Christmas this year! Sadly, one of my non-imaginative staples; but they were always cute and quirky. But I get her point.
