Description

Many beeswax pillar candles have difficulty burning because the particulate in beeswax clogs the wick, resulting in a weak flame and tunneling. Our 100% pure beeswax pillars will burn perfectly because we lightly filter our crude beeswax and carefully choose the right wick. Light filtration takes out just the right amount of particulate while keeping the sweet honey scent and gorgeous natural color intact.

Ivory available in 2" and 3" diameter only. Colored pillars available in 3" x 6” diameter only.

Dimensions & Care

2” Dia. Pillars:

  • Trim wick to 1/4" before each lighting.
  • To avoid dripping, burn for only 1 hour at a time.
  • To eliminate smoke when extinguishing the flame, use a tool to drip wax from the molten pool onto the burning wick.
3” Dia. Pillars:
  • Trim wick to 1/4" before each lighting.
  • To avoid tunneling, burn for at least 3 hours per burn and mold the warm sides in toward the flame. This will melt the walls, utilizing all of the available fuel, and thus extend the overall burn time. It will also raise the molten wax level, and shrink any over-sized flame.
  • To prevent uneven burning and potential dripping, use a metal tool to redirect a curled or angled wick to the opposite direction. To prevent wick breakage when doing this, be sure to nudge the wick below the level of the molten pool where the wick is not burned and thus stronger.
  • To eliminate smoke when extinguishing the flame, use a tool to drip wax from the molten pool onto the burning wick.
4” Dia. Pillars:
  • Trim wick to 1/4" before each lighting.
  • To avoid tunneling, burn for at least 6 hours per burn and mold the warm sides in toward the flame.

Addicted!

Love stocking up on these gorgeous pillar candles (assorted sizes in ivory and raw) and tea candles (raw, clear). I recently moved to a new apartment with a fireplace and have been lighting my collection of smoke-free beeswax candles there (in lieu of a wood log). Love the aesthetic of the setup both night and day!

Lovely Candles

I purchased 8” tapers in raw, burgundy and moss and they are just as I had hoped. The colors are deep and rich and burn evenly and cleanly. I also bought two 3” pillar in raw and they are perfect for burning on my kitchen sink counter. I recommend these candles and only wish the tapers came in 4” or 6” sizes as well for the round candle holder we have over our dining table.

3 inch pillars

I bought 2 candles, one of them is burning much better than the other. One burns a nice 2 inch pool and is great to deal with. The other is not burning hot enough to create a pool and is constantly just barely staying lite. I am going to keep at it and give the 2 inch pillar a try next..very nice wax in the candles I suspect a wick issue with the one I am having problems with but could also be user error I am new to burning beeswax.
